The Start: A local company founded in the burbs of Kansas City; Structured KC was established on December 17, 2014 by me, Antoinette Hanke. The company motto: To create scarves organically, inherently and tastefully with style and inspiration.
The Inspiration: One word; fashion. That is what inspires Structured KC. And moreover, the ability to create your own story with fashion. Individuals with a modest style can find themselves being the most fashionable at times, simply based on the accessories they wear. Structured KC allows each person to make their own statements and show the world their identity by the scarves they choose. Each scarf is named; each scarf has its own personality. Which one are you?
Active Creators: One pair of hands are creating your scarves. I’m currently running Structured KC’s shop solo, however; many hands, brains and looks reflect the growth of the business since its opening on December 17, 2014. Branding and website designer, Melanie Anne Creative (www.melanieannecreative.com) influenced the look and feel of the logo and website design with her talents and marketing experiences. Photography credits go to my dear friends at Bright Umbrella Photography (www.brightumbrellaphotography.com) and Rachell Stierly Photography (www.rachellstierlyphotography.com) who took a couple local spots in Kansas City, my beautiful friends, Alejandra Goudie, Aly Storhaug and Lei’Onna Smith and used their creative eye to help showcase my scarves the best way possible. I am always turning the pages at Structured KC. From one chapter to the next; our focus is to create products that you will fall in love with over and over again.
The Creations: Scarves; currently Blanket Scarves. Yet the boat doesn’t stop there. Hang tight and stay afloat; the next chapter of my story is on the horizon.
Great Expectations: As a consumer, I value the experience. And above all, I have great expectations from whom I do business with. So through Structured KC, I exude these anticipations by providing the shopping experience that all customers deserve.
